Portofino Beach Resort-An Authentic Island Escape! San Pedro , San Pedro (Ambergris Caye)

The restaurant at Portofino is simply amazing. We had the pleasure of embarking on a Belizean culinary adventure with Marcelo and the resort chef. The freshness and flavor of the seafood was amazing, especially the almond crusted snapper and lobster bisque. Every meal was a treat, making our stay nice. Highly recommend!

We stayed in a beachfront cabana that was beautifully cleaned and well-appointed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the view from our porch was romantic and calming. Every evening, we were treated to special turn-down service, which made us feel truly pampered.

The snorkeling excursions arranged by the hotel were fantastic! Mr. Chocolate, our guide, was knowledgeable and made the experience enjoyable. We saw an abundance of marine life including stingrays and turtles, making it very nice. This was a highlight of our trip at Portofino.

The ambiance around the pool was perfect for relaxation. There were plenty of lounge chairs available, and I loved how close it was to the beachfront, making it easy to switch between lounging by the pool and basking in the sun by the sea. It was a well-maintained and peaceful place to unwind.
